Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a hands-on manufacturing support specialist in Oklahoma City to assist CNC operators, setup and program issues, and help implement improved manufacturing techniques in work cells.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to analyze and resolve process problems, support validation projects, and maintain manufacturing documentation. This role requires a safety-first mindset and the ability to work 10-hour days with some weekend work.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Knowledge of mold injection machines and processes.
  • Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
  • Ability to read posted bulletins, regulations, manuals, and work instructions.
  • Teamwork and positive interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support CNC operation, setup, and programming to assist operators.
  • Follow safety guidelines and maintain compliance.
  • Analyze processes and troubleshoot issues with stakeholders across teams.
  • Assist with process validation, studies, and testing.
  • Develop and update manufacturing documentation and track performance.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives (DMAIC, LEAN, 5S).
  • Inspect work and ensure equipment safety and conformance.
  • Complete time reporting and report inventory usage.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work 10 hours daily with weekends as needed.

Job description

  • Works alongside manufacturing engineering and operators to troubleshoot problems that arise with the implementation of any of the below tasks.
  • Assist engineers to identify and implement new tooling.
  • Work alongside manufacturing engineering to analyze, identify, design and implement improved manufacturing techniques and processes in work cells.
  • Perform time studies to verify current production sequence documentation is accurate to the actual manufacturing processes.
  • Work alongside manufacturing engineering to analyze, identify and implement replacement machinery to improve throughput of various production processes.
  • Aid manufacturing engineering in defining requirements and guidelines for replacement equipment and processes from outside vendors.
  • Work with machine operators and manufacturing engineering to provide continuous improvement support to optimize the production process.

  • CNC operation, set-up, and programming background to assist the operators and problem solve when the setups are not producing good product.
  • Must follow safety guidelines and requirements.
  • Develop detailed understanding of processes and equipment to identify and solve process issues through troubleshooting, data analysis, and collaboration with stakeholders across the Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, and Quality teams.
  • Support process validation projects by aiding with set-ups, engineering studies, and related testing.
  • Provide administrative support such as developing and updating manufacturing documentation and tracking and reporting on process performance.
  • Support execution of projects including DMAIC, LEAN, 5S, cost reduction, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean.
  • Ensure that equipment is in safe operating condition.
  • Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties.
  • Must verify conformance of work to specifications.
  • Must exhibit quality workmanship that adheres to engineering and customer specifications.
  • Works in a timely, efficient manner to meet all daily performance objectives.
  • Maintains tools and equipment in proper working condition.
  • Complete Time Reporting Sheets.
  • Report inventory use as required.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs. consistently.
  • Ability to work 10 hours per day and weekends as required.
  • Must have a valid Drivers License.
  • Background check and drug-screen are required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to work in a team environment which requires cooperating with others, offering help when needed, and maintaining positive work relationships.
