Job summary

Custom Building Products in Frankfort, IN is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for the 1st shift, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, Monday–Friday with overtime as needed. You’ll ship/receive materials and move goods using a sit-down forklift to keep production flowing accurately and on schedule.

Work will involve coordinating with Production and Maintenance in a team setting, adhering to safety standards, and contributing to continuous improvement in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient operation of forklift and walkie rider.
• Ability to read and understand work orders and schedules.
• Commitment to safety and maintaining a clean work area.

Responsibilities

• Use forklift or walkie rider to pick, ship and/or receiving products timely.
• Receive instructions and schedules from plant supervision.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, orderly work environment.
• Retrieve or put away material using a sit-down industrial forklift.
• Ensure finished products meet quality standards.
