Job summary

Custom Building Products in Frankfort, IN seeks an experienced Forklift Operator for the 1st shift (6:00 AM–2:30 PM), Monday–Friday, with overtime as needed. You will ship and/or receive products timely and accurately, work with Production and Maintenance, and help keep the plant safe and organized.

Requirements include proven forklift and walkie rider operation, ability to read work orders, and a drive test at interview.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand work orders and complex instructions.
• Proficient operation of forklift and walkie rider; driving test at interview.
• Great work ethic and impeccable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Use forklift or walkie rider to ship and/or receive products timely
• Receive instructions and schedules from plant supervision.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, orderly work environment
• Retrieve or put away material using a sit-down industrial forklift.
• Ensure that finished product meets quality standards.
• Ready and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
