Job summary

Second Nature Brands LLC is hiring a Packaging / Production Machine Operator for the 1st shift in Tukwila, WA. The role involves operating production lines to produce premium snack blends, with a focus on safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

Responsibilities include handling packaging, roasting, and sanitation tasks, lifting up to 50 pounds, and maintaining documentation per CGMPs. Regular hours are 6:00am–4:30pm, with potential overtime and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Able to work with and around cleaning chemicals and perform all sanitation duties
• Reliable attendance record; punctuality is key
• Basic computer skills
• Reading/writing and verbal communication in English to complete production documentation
• Able to work safely around automated and semi-automated machinery
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Understand CGMPs and food safety regulations in a production setting

Responsibilities

• Operate production lines safely and efficiently to meet quality standards and schedules
• Build packing boxes and trays for bulk product
• Label pouches and shipping boxes as needed
• Ensure pouches are filled and sealed correctly
• Pack sealed pouches into shipping boxes and stack on pallets
• Gather and inspect ingredients and raw materials for quality
• Operate roasting and mixing equipment per SOPs
• Maintain sanitation logs and cleaning schedule
• Communicate issues to management and suggest process improvements
• Perform other duties as assigned
