Aerotek is hiring for 1st and 2nd shift Packaging roles in Fairmont, MN. Start ASAP on a high-volume food production line, portioning and packaging prepared meals while maintaining quality and food safety, in a refrigerated environment.

Expect standing for the full shift and overtime as needed. The position is permanent and onsite with weekly pay and benefits including medical/dental/vision, life insurance, a 401(k), and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for the entire shift in a production setting.
• Comfortable working in cold environments during shifts.
• Physical ability to lift up to 55 lbs repeatedly.
• Willingness to perform repetitive tasks for the duration of the shift.
• Strong attention to weighing, portioning, and visual inspection.
• Reliable and punctual with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Work on a food packaging production line to prepare and package meals according to procedures.
• Weigh food for each serving to ensure accurate portions.
• Fill dishes with the correct items for the day, including meats and vegetables.
• Perform visual inspections of packaged products for quality and contents.
• Maintain a consistent pace and stand for the entire shift.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and dress code requirements.
• Handle protective clothing and PPE according to policy.
• Lift up to 55 lbs and assist with shifting vegetables or noodles as needed.
• Work overtime hours to support production demands.
