Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a General Production Worker for our Miami, FL facility. This hands-on role supports meat production and packaging in a cold, GMP-governed environment, with first shift hours from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

You will operate Multivac packers, cutters, and metal detectors, follow recipes, and ensure accurate labeling while maintaining product quality and safety. The position is contract-to-hire, offering a stable first shift and opportunities to grow within a busy food production team.

Qualifications

• Standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds as part of a cold-food production line.
• Familiarity with GMP and food-safety practices is essential.
• Experience with meat processing and packaging operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle and process meats to maintain a consistent production flow.
• Operate packaging machinery and place sausage links into packers.
• Transfer products between areas and weigh ingredients accurately.
• Maintain a clean, GMP-compliant work area and follow labeling procedures.
• Communicate with team members to meet daily production goals.
• Work in a cold environment and perform repetitive lifting tasks.
