Job summary

Doherty Staffing Solutions is seeking a Packaging Technician for a food production facility in Faribault, Minnesota. You will operate and maintain packaging equipment, perform safety and quality checks, and complete production documentation in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires the ability to lift heavy items, read English instructions, and work overtime or weekends when needed. Weekly pay and benefits options are available through a card-based system.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely lift 65 pounds consistently and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions in English.
• Basic math skills for weights, measurements and production logs.
• Availability to overtime and weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment such as palletizers, depalletizers, labelers, tray formers, stretch wrappers, pallet labelers and conveyors.
• Perform safety checks, quality audits, and required production documentation.
• Identify and correct equipment issues to maximize production efficiency and communicate maintenance needs.
• Complete changeovers and cross-train on equipment across packaging stations.
