Job summary

Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream is hiring a full-time Sanitation Associate to maintain clean, safe, and compliant production areas in our California facility. You will perform CIP cleaning, drain care, and waste disposal while adhering to GMPs and safety policies.

Role requires ability to work in wet environments, follow LOTO procedures, and coordinate with Production and Quality teams. Training will be provided to support hygiene and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Chemical handling experience preferred.
• GMP and good housekeeping practices required.
• Must follow PPE policies (steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, etc.).
• Follows Lock Out, Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.

Responsibilities

• Understand verbal and written instructions in English.
• Follow safety rules and PPE requirements.
• Observe GMP and CDFA policies.
• Move around work areas on various surfaces.
• Arrive on time for each shift.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members.
• Detect warnings indicating hazardous conditions.
• Work in wet environments.
• Operate high-pressure hose and hand tools.
• Climb ladders and work at heights.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness across the factory.
• Work with Maintenance to resolve issues and improve.
