Job summary

Power Solutions International (PSI) in Darien, WI is seeking a Fabrication Team Member to set up and operate metal fabricating machines, cutting and forming metal plates and shapes according to blueprints. The position works 1st shift with hours from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with Saturdays as required.

Under the Metal Processing Team Lead, you will read drawings, monitor quality, perform routine maintenance, and participate in safe handling of materials up to 40 pounds,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience including the ability to apply math (fractions, ratios, measurements) and to read, comprehend, and convert instruction manuals/diagrams into work.
• Demonstrated proficiency in metal fabrication machining, assembly, and/or high-volume manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of Metric and English measurement systems with the ability to perform conversions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate metal fabrication machines to ensure precision machining operations.
• Monitor and verify finished parts conform to engineering drawings and quality standards per the Control Plan.
• Ensure that standard procedures are followed in all aspects of work including tool setup and operation, process verification, product inspection, documentation, and material handling.
• Perform general machine maintenance per Daily Maintenance Checklists.
