Job summary

Pro Resources Staffing Services is seeking a 1W/1U Operator for the first shift in Indiana. The role involves safely setting up and running an extrusion coating line, primarily at the wind end, with responsibilities including material handling, quality checks, changeovers, and routine maintenance.

The successful candidate will have 2–3 years in manufacturing, the ability to read instructions and use measuring tools, and must be willing to train for two weeks, with overtime and weekend shifts as

Qualifications

GED or high school diploma required.
2–3 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
Ability to read instructions and use measuring tools.
Willingness to rotate between positions and work overtime.

Responsibilities

Safely off-load rolls of paper or chipboard up to 74" wide and 60" OD.
Set up and operate the wind end of the extrusion coating machine.
Monitor machine operation and material throughout the production run.
Inspect finished and in-process material for quality and make minor adjustments.
Identify and report quality issues or discrepant material to the Team Leader or CMR Operator.
Operate an overhead crane to safely maneuver large rolls of paper and other materials.
Perform machine setups, changeovers, and adjustments per procedures.
Verify product specifications and complete required quality checks and documentation.
