Job summary

Pro Resources Staffing Services is seeking a 1st Shift Extruder 2 Associate to support the extrusion department. Responsibilities include operating production machinery, material handling, and quality checks to ensure safe, efficient manufacturing and adherence to quality standards.

• Previous manufacturing, production, or machine operation experience is helpful but not required.

• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the operation of extrusion equipment and production machinery.
• Load and move raw materials and finished products as needed.
• Monitor the extrusion process and watch for quality or production issues.
• Perform visual inspections and quality checks on finished products.
• Assist with machine setup, changeovers, and adjustments as directed.
• Follow work instructions, SOPs, and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
• Assist with troubleshooting and report equipment or product issues to the appropriate team member.
• Perform routine production tasks to keep the extrusion line running efficiently.
• Work as part of a team to meet production, quality, and waste-reduction goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
