Responsibilities

• Configure, initiate, and manage extrusion equipment following safety and ISO quality standards.
• Measure components and verify feeds; load pre-mixed materials as required.
• Oversee machinery performance to ensure safe, productive workflow and address issues.
• Operate equipment to blend, extrude, or process materials per guidelines.
• Conduct inspections to ensure products meet quality specs.
• Record production data accurately and maintain logs and reports.
• Escalate technical challenges to Shift Supervisor or Production Lead.
• Maintain sanitation and cleaning of machinery and workspace.
• Engage in training and process improvement initiatives.

Job description

• Configure, initiate, and manage equipment while verifying that all controls align with safety protocols and ISO quality benchmarks.
• Measure components to satisfy specific formulas and load them into the system, or verify that the appropriate pre-mixed materials are staged and loaded for production.
• Oversee manufacturing and machinery performance to maintain a secure and productive workflow while addressing any technical or processing complications.
• Utilize equipment to blend, extrude, or process materials in strict accordance with established operational guidelines.
• Conduct visual and physical inspections of products to confirm they meet all quality specifications.
• Collect material specimens for laboratory analysis to help ensure the final output meets quality standards.
• Escalate unresolved operational challenges to the Shift Supervisor or Production Lead for further guidance.
• Execute all necessary sanitation and cleaning tasks for the machinery.
• Manage all essential system entries and digital transactions, ensuring complete accuracy of production data.
• Record all necessary operational activities, including maintaining logs and generating performance reports.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, training sessions, and process optimization initiatives.
• Uphold a clean workspace and adhere to all safety policies to foster a secure environment for the entire team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of hands‑on experience working with plastic extrusion machinery.
• Proficiency in using precision tools, including reading tape measures to 1/16 inch and micrometers to 1/1000 inch.
• Capability to secure and maintain a valid forklift operator certification.
• Prior experience in the maintenance of extrusion systems is considered a plus.

This position follows a 2-2-3 rotation schedule, operating from 7:45 PM to 8:00 AM.
