Job summary

Staff Management | SMX in Minneapolis, MN seeks a Production Associate to join our team on a 1st shift, temp-to-hire basis. You will operate extrusion lines, ensure timely production, and maintain safety and quality standards.

The role offers the hourly rate of $20, weekly pay, and benefits including medical/dental insurance and PTO. Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED and a forklift license; background check and drug test are required.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing/Maintenance: Fork Lift Operator's License required.
• Personal Skills: Manual Dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
• Personal Skills: Strong reading and comprehension abilities.
• Personal Skills: Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
• Education: HS diploma or GED is mandatory.
• Experience: Prior manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion lines and ensure uptime.
• Produce quality products on schedule and per specs.
• Obtain and verify required run documentation.
• Deliver correct ingredients and weigh to match recipe.
• Set up and start extruder machinery and monitor controls.
• Notify supervision of issues promptly.
• Process, package and stage materials per specs.
• Support production operators with materials as needed.
• Perform machine cleaning and routine maintenance.
• Complete required paperwork and documents.
• Follow safety rules and maintain housekeeping.
• Other duties as assigned.
