Job Posting:

Ferguson is the largest wholesale distributor of residential and commercial plumbing supplies, pipe, valves, and fittings in the U.S. The company also distributes HVAC equipment, fire protection systems, waterworks, and industrial products and services. Ferguson and its subsidiaries serve customers across all 50 states, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and the Caribbean.

We are currently seeking experienced Warehouse Equipment Operators to join our team at the Perris Distribution Center. These roles involve operating a cherry picker (order selector) to pull orders for 1st shift (Monday to Friday, 5:30 am - 2:00 pm, with overtime).

Responsibilities:

1. Safely operate a stand-up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.
2. Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
3. Use RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
4. Receive, verify, stage, and stock all incoming materials accurately and promptly.
5. Maintain a clean workspace and participate in keeping the facility safe and accident-free.

Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Dependability, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
• Self-motivated with quick learning ability of our systems.
• Ability to lift 20-70 lbs constantly and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
