Ferguson is the largest wholesale distributor of residential and commercial plumbing supplies, pipe, valves, and fittings in the U.S. The company also distributes HVAC equipment, fire protection systems, waterworks, and industrial products and services. We are currently seeking qualified individuals for the position of Warehouse Equipment Operator at our Perris Distribution Center. We are hiring experienced operators to work with Cherry Pickers (order selectors) on our 1st Shift (Monday to Friday, 5:30 am - 2:00 pm, with overtime).

Responsibilities

1. Safely operate a stand-up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.
2. Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
3. Utilize technology such as RF devices to scan, sort, and prepare orders.
4. Receive, verify, stage, and stock all incoming materials accurately and promptly.
5. Maintain a clean and safe workspace, participating in keeping the facility clean, safe, and accident-free.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management is required.
• High attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Positive attitude, dependability, and a strong work ethic.
• Self-motivated with the ability to learn systems quickly.
• Ability to lift items weighing 20-70 lbs constantly and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

Pay Range

$15.00 - $26.17 per hour or monthly salary, depending on role and location. This position may be eligible for bonuses or incentives. Wages comply with all regulations and may vary by location.
