Job summary

Conagra Brands in Centralia, Illinois, is hiring a production operator to run and support packaging/processing equipment, sanitation and quality activities, and warehouse operations. You will help maintain throughput, product quality, and safety while supporting production goals and continuous improvement across the plant.

You will collaborate with Line Leads to train team members, follow all SOPs, participate in cleaning and audits, and coordinate with maintenance for smooth handoffs.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and support packaging, processing, sanitation, quality, and warehouse ops to meet daily goals.
• Partner with Line Leads to support cross-training and skill development.
• Follow SOPs and safety standards to maintain productivity and quality.
• Assist in cleaning, sanitation, and audit activities for compliance.
• Communicate with Line Leads and Maintenance to resolve equipment issues and handoffs.
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by the Shift Supervisor or Ops Manager.

Shift: 3:45 PM-12:15 AM

Hourly Rate: $21.25 an hour + $.50 shift differential

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will operate and support production packaging and processing equipment, sanitation and quality activities, and warehouse operations. You will help maintain throughput, product quality, and safety standards while supporting production goals and driving continuous improvement across the plant.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

• Operate assigned production equipment and support packaging, processing, sanitation, quality, and warehouse operations to achieve daily production goals.
• Partner with Line Leads to support team cross-training, skill development, and operational flexibility.
• Follow all Job Element Sheets and standard operating procedures while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.
• Participate in cleaning, sanitation, and audit activities to ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and operational requirements.
• Communicate and collaborate with Line Leads, Maintenance, and other shifts to resolve equipment issues, ensure effective handoffs, and drive plant performance.
• Complete additional duties, projects, and responsibilities as assigned by the Shift Supervisor or Operations Manager.

Physical Requirements

• Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time.
