Conagra Brands in Marshall, Missouri, is hiring a Boiler Refrigeration Mechanic to service plant equipment, boilers, ammonia systems and HVAC components. You will troubleshoot, repair, read blueprints, and perform welding/fabrication tasks on site.

Requires a high school diploma or GED and 1 year of mechanic experience in manufacturing; ability to lift 50 pounds and work overtime. Relocation assistance is available for local candidates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year mechanic experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to work the scheduled/assigned days and hours including required overtime.
• Carry and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to read and write English for completion of production/quality documents.
• Familiar with and ability to use basic shop equipment, electric arc welder, plasma cutter, torch and basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, remove, install, replace, rebuild, repair, & test parts/components on plant & production equipment.
• Perform basic welding, fabrication, and machining tasks; read blueprints, drawings and plans.
• Repair HVAC, ammonia systems and related equipment.
• Daily check of all refrigeration systems and energy systems.
• Replace, repair and maintain boilers, ammonia systems, condensers, and HVAC equipment.
• Inspect machines; locate problems, replace parts, adjust as needed.

Shift: 9:30 PM-6:00 AM Hourly Rate: $24.17 an hour + $1.00 shift differential Conagra Brands in Marshall Missouri, a local supplier of Banquet products, is seeking qualified individuals to fill the Boiler Refrigeration Mechanic position. Reporting to the Senior Engineer, you will work on-site at one of Conagra's largest manufacturing facilities with over 800 employees.

You Will:

• Troubleshoot, remove, install, replace, re-build, repair, & test parts/components on plant & production equipment.
• Perform basic welding, fabrication, and machining tasks, as well as, read blueprints, drawing and plans.
• Troubleshoot and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment involving ammonia & other refrigerants.
• Perform daily check of all refrigeration systems as required.
• Replace, repair and maintain all energy systems, boilers, ammonia systems, coolers, air compressors, HVAC systems and apparatus.
• Clean evaporators and condensers as scheduled, change recorder charts and maintain recording equipment.
• Monitor, repair, clean plant systems, water condensers, evaporators, dump traps, accumulators, sight glasses and filtration systems.
• Keep mechanical equipment in good condition and working order.
• Inspect machines and equipment to locate problems, replace defective parts, and make necessary adjustments to ensure a continuous production operation.
• Use manuals, repair manuals, parts manuals, parts diagrams to troubleshoot plant & production equipment.
• Use hand & power tools to remove, install, replace, re-build, repair, & test parts/equipment on plant & production equipment.
• Perform electrical and/or pneumatic work on production machines.

You Have:

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 year mechanic experience in a manufacturing or production environment & electrical experience.
• Ability to work the scheduled/assigned days and hours including required overtime.
• Carry and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to read and write English for completion of production/quality documents.
• Familiar with and ability to use basic shop equipment, electric arc welder, plasma cutter, torch and basic hand tools.
