Job summary

Vollrath Company in Kiel, WI is seeking a 1st Shift Electrical Mechanical Maintenance technician to perform complex maintenance on CNC equipment and related systems. The role requires 5+ years of Electro-Mechanical experience and a state-certified Journeyman electrician or equivalent.

Responsibilities include PLC troubleshooting, wiring, and repairing electrical power distribution from single to 3-phase grids.

Qualifications

Journeyman electrician certification or equivalent required.
5+ years of Electro-Mech Technician experience in an industrial setting.
Experience in PLC programming and installation.
Knowledge of amplifiers, power supplies, test equipment, PLCs, cabling, motors and hydraulics.
Ability to read complex blueprints and schematics.
Ability to perform basic MIG and arc welding; work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work overtime, including weekends.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on CNC equipment and related systems.
Read complex blueprints and schematics to guide repairs and installations.
Diagnose PLC installations and troubleshoot electrical/control issues.
Design, install and repair electrical power distribution from single to 3-phase grids.
Direct activities of temporary assigned helpers and coordinate with team.
Maintain safety and housekeeping standards on the shop floor.
Provide own basic tools to efficiently perform job duties.
