You must be a certified journeyman millwright, able to read engineering specs, install, align, and repair machinery, and document repairs and preventive tasks.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret engineering specifications and prints.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow engineering specs and prints for maintaining and repairing equipment.
• Aligns machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, squares, and rules as needed.
• Connects power to machines and tests units to evaluate operation.
• Observes and tests machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Replace defective parts and adjust clearances and alignment of moving parts.
• Install, repair, and maintain machinery and related equipment.
• Record repairs and maintenance performed.
