Job summary

Energizer Holdings in Dayton, Ohio is seeking a Compounder for 1st shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday). The role focuses on preparing, blending, and handling chemical raw materials in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will operate blending equipment, perform quality checks, and support maintenance and safety initiatives. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of chemical mixing experience, forklift certification, and a solid ability to read batch records and SOPs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of chemical mixing or relevant manufacturing experience.
• forklift experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Experience with blending and compounding equipment is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs and batch records.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and compound batches of raw materials per specs and SOPs.
• Move materials using forklifts and transport equipment safely.
• Weigh, measure, and transfer chemicals with appropriate equipment.
• Operate blending equipment in a non-temperature controlled environment.
• Support maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure adherence to HSE requirements and maintain records.
