Job summary

Prime Mold LLC in Clinton Township, MI is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist/Programmer on the 1st shift. The role requires operating CNC vertical mills, programming a 3-axis mill, and understanding Fanuc controls to meet tight tolerances on complex mold components.

Qualified candidates will have hands-on experience with 3D contour machining, mold part production, and a background in setting up and verifying parts per drawings. Benefits include 401K with match and paid holidays/vacation.

Qualifications

• Experience programming/operating a 3-axis CNC mill.
• Proficiency with Fanuc, Mitsubishi or Fadal control systems.
• Experience machining 3D contour surfaces and injection mold components.

Responsibilities

• Operate numerically controlled machine tools.
• Perform complex series of progressive machining operations to close tolerances.
• Check parts for conformance to specifications.
• May run more than one unit simultaneously.
• CNC 3-axis programming of vertical mill.
• Set up and operate a CNC vertical mill.
• Perform quality checks and adjust machine offsets.
• Read and understand part designs.
