Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a CAR-T Manufacturing Supervisor for 1st shift (Sunday to Wednesday, with bi-weekly Sunday to Tuesday) in Raritan, NJ. You will lead a cell therapy production team in a sterile cGMP setting, overseeing Day 0 to Day 10 processing operations and ensuring quality and safety on the shop floor.

Responsibilities include directing unit tasks, fostering cross-functional collaboration with QA, Engineering and Ops, and driving continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience leading in Operations or Manufacturing within a cGMP environment (biotech/biopharma or engineering).
• Experience in aseptic manufacturing & aseptic techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced experience in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Teams, SharePoint).
• Advanced computer literacy and familiarity with electronic systems such as Workday, SAP, Atlas, S4Hana, Elims, MES, Binocs, EMS, Scheduling Tools.
• Ability to gown into Clean Room Attire to supervise operations on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a Processing Manufacturing Unit within the CART process operations (Day 0, Cell Culture, Day 10 or Component Prep).
• Lead daily shift operations meetings (Tier Meeting) and assign daily production tasks.
• Work with operations on the floor to ensure safety, quality, and cGMP compliance.
• Support investigations and create/revise procedures, master batch records, and change controls.
• Assist Operations Manager in developing production personnel and performance.
• Build cross-functional relationships with Manufacturing, Engineering and Quality.
• Support process improvements and instrument cross-functional projects.
• Participate in production runs during critical periods and stay past shift end if needed.
