Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a CAR-T Manufacturing Supervisor for the 1st shift (Sunday to Wednesday, bi-weekly Sunday to Tuesday) in Raritan, NJ. You will lead a CART unit, ensure cGMP compliance, and collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering and Quality to execute production tasks on the floor.

Qualifications include a minimum of an Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred), at least 2 years leading in biotech manufacturing, and strong proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years leading in Operations or Manufacturing within a cGMP environment.
• Experience in Aseptic Manufacturing & Aseptic Techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced Computer Literacy and work in Electronic Systems (Workday, SAP, Atlas, S4Hana, Elims, MES, Binocs, EMS, Scheduling Tools).
• Ability to gown into Clean Room attire for shop floor oversight.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a Processing Manufacturing Unit within CART operations.
• Lead daily shift meetings and assign production tasks.
• Collaborate with operations on floor to ensure safety, quality, and cGMP compliance.
• Support manufacturing investigations and create/revise procedures and forms.
• Mentor production personnel and assess performance with management.
• Foster cross-functional relationships to ensure seamless daily production.
• Drive continuous improvements in cell therapy operations.
• Participate in projects and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist in production runs during critical situations and stay past shift end if needed.
• Ensure batches complete when runs extend beyond shift times.
