Job summary

Solid Power is seeking a 1st Shift Production Operator to join our team advancing next-generation all solid-state rechargeable batteries. You will set up, operate, and manage equipment in electrode fabrication and battery cell assembly, working closely with operators, technicians, and engineers.

The role requires 3+ years in a lab or manufacturing setting, experience with hazardous materials, and a meticulous, fast-paced mindset suitable for a startup.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years in a lab or manufacturing environment, dry-room/clean-room a plus.
• Experience with hazardous materials and powder/slurry operations.
• Fast learner with attention to detail in a startup setting.
• Experience operating and maintaining semi-automated machinery.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated and semi-automated machinery on the line.
• Follow SOPs, work instructions, and safety guidelines.
• Setup and operate specialized production equipment including calenders and welders.
• Maintain 5S standards and safe workspace, assist with audits.
• Record accurate production documentation and quality checks.
