Solid Power is seeking a 1st Shift Production Operator to join our team in Denver, CO. The role involves operating automated and semi-automated equipment for electrode fabrication and cell assembly, with a focus on safety and quality.

You will work with operators, technicians, and engineers to set up and run production processes, following detailed procedures and 5S practices, while maintaining documentation and a clean work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years’ experience in a lab or manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with hazardous materials, dry powder processes, and wet chemical/slurry and solvent-based operations.
• Rapid learner with attention to detail in a fast-paced start-up environment.
• Preference for experience operating and maintaining semi-automated machinery.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Teams, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated and semi-automated machinery.
• Follow SOPs and work instructions.
• Set up and operate specialized production equipment.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and 5S standards.
• Solve problems methodically during production runs.
• Ensure product quality specifications are met throughout production.
• Complete and verify production documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and participate in 5S activities.
