Job summary

Liberty Diversified International's Fort Worth, TX plant is hiring an Assistant Machine Operator I to safely produce quality corrugated products. You will assist machine operators with setup, perform quality checks, stack orders, and communicate issues. Some locations may require assisting finishing tasks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent or 1+ years manufacturing experience.
• Ability to perform basic math such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Ability to read, follow and complete detailed work instructions.
• Availability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Preferred: experience with tape measure readings within 1/16"; experience with computers and data entry.
• Experience in corrugated industry or continuous improvement programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup of orders according to customer specs and readiness process.
• Support machine operators during quality checks by inspecting first article and articles throughout the order.
• Monitor production metrics to track progress, quality, maintenance needs, and downtime.
• Communicate equipment issues to leaders and assist with troubleshooting to maximize efficiency.
• Assist with minor repairs to equipment in partnership with maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow post-order cleaning.
