Job summary

STARC Systems in Brunswick, ME is seeking an Associate Assembly Technician (1st Shift). This entry-level role performs routine assembly, inspection, packing, and production support under supervision, following work instructions and safety standards. You will learn to use hand tools, measuring devices, and basic production equipment through on-the-job training.

This position requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, and a safety-focused mindset. Hours are 7:00 a.m.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
On-the-job training provided for production tasks.
Ability to read work orders, BOMs, and SOPs.
Basic math and ability to use measuring tools.

Responsibilities

Complete assigned production tasks including basic assembly, packing, and inspection.
Perform basic assembly operations on product lines with approved tools.
Assist with secondary operations and operate equipment after training.
Clean, label, and pack finished products per shipping standards.
Report questions or material concerns to leads or supervisors.
May obtain forklift certification as needed.
