Job summary

Monroechamber is hiring for an Assembly role in Springfield, MO. Work 1st shift, 6:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Thursday, with potential overtime on Fridays. You will read work orders, assemble products with hand and power tools, and inspect finished parts in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and mechanical aptitude. Forklift or scissor lift experience is a plus; safety gear is provided and PPE must be worn.

Qualifications

• Reading blueprints and production instructions.
• Able to read and follow work orders.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work orders and production instructions.
• Assemble products using hand tools and portable power tools.
• Use grinders to remove burrs and material defects.
• Coordinate staging and sequencing of parts and components.
• Operate forklift/scissor lift after training.
• Inspect parts and finished products for quality.
