Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Springfield, MO seeks a Machine Operator for 1st shift to support our manufacturing client. You will safely set up and operate equipment, troubleshoot routine malfunctions, monitor quality, and maintain production records. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2 years in manufacturing, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing or a similar role.
• Strong technical skills with machinery and equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds in a physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely set-up and operate equipment to maximize machine efficiency and product output.
• Apply technical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve routine equipment malfunctions.
• Monitor production processes, checking for defects or malfunctions that could impact product quality.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of production activities.
• Follow safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and adhering to all safety procedures.
