  • Pack completed parts into specified containers.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
  • Report quality or production concerns to the Lead or Production Manager.
  • Accurately complete production documentation (part types, run hours, quantities).
  • Follow detailed work instructions, quality procedures, and safety requirements.

Location:Stevensville, MI

Pay:$18/hour

Shift:1st Shift, Full-Time,Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM–3:00 PM

Overtime:Possible overtime on Fridays

Job Description

We are a third-party recruiter working with a local manufacturer in Stevensville, MI that is seeking a dependable Assembly & Quality Control Worker to join their 1st shift team.

In this role, you will assist with the assembly and quality control of cast parts, helping ensure customers receive complete, ready-to-use products that meet quality standards.

You’ll work in a small, supportive team environment where everyone relies on one another to deliver precision, consistency, and high-quality results. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, pays close attention to detail, and enjoys being part of a close-knit manufacturing team.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble components to provide customers with complete, ready-to-use parts
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections using measuring tools to ensure parts meet quality standards

  • Repeat assembly cycles as required
  • Maintain accountability for the quality and accuracy of your work
  • Identify and report quality or production concerns to the Lead or Production Manager
  • Accurately complete production documentation, including part types, run hours, and quantities
  • Follow detailed work instructions, quality procedures, and safety requirements
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production and quality goals

Qualifications

  • Previous CNC operating and/or assembly experience
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds repeatedly
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic mechanical aptitude
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality parts
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and perform consistent, repeatable work
  • Ability to use or learn basic measuring and inspection tools
