Job summary

Apex Staffing Company in Michigan is seeking a manufacturing assembler to build automotive sunroof systems according to standardized work instructions. This on-site role requires following quality procedures, meeting daily production goals, and maintaining safe, 5S-compliant work areas.

High School Diploma or GED preferred; reading and following written/verbal English instructions; strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal work instructions in English.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Comfortable using hand tools and basic assembly equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Assemble automotive sunroof systems and related components according to standardized work instructions.
• Follow all manufacturing process documentation and quality procedures.
• Perform visual inspections to ensure parts meet quality specifications.
• Safely operate common hand tools and assembly equipment.
• Meet daily production and quality goals while maintaining required cycle times.
• Identify and report defective materials, equipment issues, or quality concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following 5S and company safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to support production objectives.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
