Job summary

American Axle & Manufacturing seeks an Assembly Operator for the 1st shift in Bowling Green, OH. You will work in a team to assemble components and ensure axle and transmission parts meet quality standards and delivery schedules.

You will demonstrate maintenance basics, use gaging techniques, run masters or red rabbits, reset errors, and operate equipment safely while following all plant policies. Prior assembly experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Prefer manufacturing or assembly experience (minimum 3 months).

Responsibilities

• Assemble components in a team environment to meet quality and delivery standards.
• Perform quality verification within the cell/line using proper gaging techniques.
• Operate all equipment within the cell/line at standard rates with minimal downtime.
• Reset errors and maintain safety and environmental policies.
