Job summary

Great Plains Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a 1st Shift Assembler for our Ellsworth, KS facility. The role runs Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with overtime on Fridays as needed. You will assemble parts, read prints, and support lean manufacturing initiatives on the line.

This position requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to safely operate hand and power tools. Prior experience is not required, and a new-hire signing bonus is mentioned in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Follow and complete daily build schedule.
• Bolt, clip, screw, cement, or fasten parts by hand or with tools.
• Read and interpret engineering prints and use a tape measure.
• Tend machines and use tools to perform fastening operations on the assembly line.
• Work at various work stations as production needs require.
• Support continuous quality improvement with the assembly/shipping team.
