Job summary

Land Pride, a division of Great Plains Mfg, is seeking a 1st Shift Assembler for our Lucas, KS facility. This position runs Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with overtime on Fridays as required.

As an assembler you will follow the daily build schedule, fasten parts with hand and power tools, read prints, and work across multiple stations while upholding Lean Manufacturing standards and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Team-oriented with ability to collaborate effectively.
• Able to safely use hand and power tools and read blueprints and a tape measure.
• Lean Manufacturing mindset and openness to process changes.

Responsibilities

• Follow and complete daily build schedule.
• Assemble parts with hand or power tools per instructions.
• Read prints and measure parts with a tape measure.
• Tend machines and use tools like impact wrenches for fastening.
• Work at multiple stations as production requires.
• Support quality improvements with the assembly/shipping manager.
• Follow safety regulations and wear PPE.
