Aerotek has an opening for an Assembler/Material Handler in Florence, KY on 1st or 3rd shift. The role focuses on basic, repetitive mechanical assembly in a clean, climate-controlled facility. You will follow detailed instructions, assemble subassemblies, label parts, and ensure quality and safety under supervision.

The position is contract to hire with onsite work; benefits and weekly pay are offered. Compensation ranges from $18.00 to $20.70 per hour, depending on qualifications and location.

Qualifications

• Experience in assembly operations.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed verbal or written instructions.
• Perform basic, standardized, and repetitive mechanical assembly operations.
• Label components, assemblies, or subassemblies accurately.
• Manually assemble inserted components per visual aids and verify specifications.
• Inspect parts to ensure proper assembly.
• Use scanners and hand tools for assembly.
• Accurately report assembly progress and results.
• Work under direct supervision of the Manufacturing Supervisor, Line Manager, or assigned management.
• Adhere to safety rules and regulations.
• Comply with all procedures within the company security policy.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
