Job summary

PeopleShare by PROMAN is hiring for a Pump Assembler / Fabricator in Exton, PA. The role offers a 4-day work week with 3-day weekends and a first-shift schedule, from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

You will work hands-on with welding, fabrication, assembly of industrial pumps, and related equipment, developing mechanical and manufacturing skills in a team-oriented shop environment.

Qualifications

• Mechanical assembly, fabrication, welding, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow specifications and work instructions.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assemble industrial pumps and related equipment following specifications and SOPs.
• Install and align moving components including shafts, bearings, gears, and drive couplings.
• Fabricate metal structures, baseplates, and guards through cutting, welding, and grinding.
• Drill, tap, and ream holes for assembly and fabrication projects.
• Align and assemble components to close tolerances.
• Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other shop equipment safely.
• Assist in various areas of the manufacturing shop as needed.

• Monday – Thursday or Tuesday – Friday
• 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour

• Fabricate metal structures, baseplates, and coupling guards through cutting, sawing, welding, and grinding
• Drill, tap, and ream holes for assembly and fabrication projects
• Align and assemble components to close tolerances
• Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other shop equipment safely
• Assist in various areas of the manufacturing shop as needed
