Job summary

Armada Staffing Group is seeking a 1st Shift Accounting Assistant in Fort Wayne, IN. The role supports daily accounting tasks, maintains accurate records, and assists with invoicing and financial documents in a copper manufacturing setting.

The position is full-time, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with a weekly pay schedule. The assignment is temporary for about six weeks, with potential extension based on needs and performance.

Qualifications

• Previous accounting, bookkeeping, data entry, or office experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient computer and data entry skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Professional communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in an office environment within a copper manufacturing facility.
• Must be able to pass a Background Check and Drug Screen #ZR

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain accurate accounting data in the company system, ensuring records are complete and up to date.
• Assist with processing invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents in a timely manner.
• Review data for accuracy, identify discrepancies, and make corrections with a high level of attention to detail.
• Organize and file financial records, both electronically and in paper format, while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Generate reports and provide administrative support to the accounting team.
• Assist with special projects and complete other duties as assigned
