Real Life Christian Academy (RLCA) is a Christ-centered learning community committed to academic excellence and spiritual growth. We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated 1st Grade Teacher to join our team for the 2025–2026 school year.

Position Summary

The 1st Grade Teacher is responsible for creating a nurturing, Christ-centered classroom where students are encouraged to grow academically, spiritually, and socially. This teacher will deliver engaging, age-appropriate instruction while modeling Christian values and fostering a love of learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with RLCA curriculum standards.

• Create a safe, structured, and joyful classroom environment rooted in Biblical principles.

• Differentiate instruction to meet the varying needs of young learners.

• Foster strong relationships with students and families through clear communication and support.

• Collaborate with fellow staff members to promote a positive, team-oriented culture.

• Integrate faith into daily instruction, modeling Christ-like behavior and attitudes.

• Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and school events.

Qualifications

• A committed follower of Jesus Christ with a mature and growing faith.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (required).

• Valid teaching certificate (preferred).

• CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
