Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is hiring for a Sanitation Associate in York County, York. The role requires mechanical aptitude to disassemble and reassemble production equipment, and to clean, sanitize, and store equipment to support production lines.

The position is physically demanding in a manufacturing environment with mandatory daily housekeeping tasks, required training, and adherence to GMPs and safety policies.

• Disassembly and accurate reassembly of production equipment.
• Cleaning and sanitizing of production equipment.
• Detailed cleaning and general housekeeping maintenance of the facility and grounds.
• Supplies replenishment (gloves, PPE, toiletries, paper towels, etc.).
• Waste removal and recycling.
• Complete all company-required training when it is assigned.
• Work safely by following all Safety Procedures/Policies and GMPs.
• Report safety hazards to people or product.

Job description

Hours

1st Shift: 5:50am-2:10pm. 6 days a week depending on production schedules.

2nd Shift: 1:50pm-10:10pm. 6 days a week depending on production schedules.

Perfect Attendance Bonus $50/week

You will be required to work every other Saturday and Sunday depending on your team assignment.

Breaks/Lunches: 20 minute break in the beginning of the shift along with a 30 minute lunch break.

Dress code: Jeans, t-shirt, slip resistant shoes or shoe covers, Lab coat will be provided. No jewelry, no fake nails or polish, hairnet required.

Job Description

Must be mechanically inclined, as you will be disassembling machines/equipment and putting it back together! Efficiently and effectively meet the needs of the Production lines by cleaning, sanitizing and storing production equipment and by providing basic housekeeping throughout the facility and personal use areas. When production is shutdown, the objective of this position is to perform Master Cleaning Schedule (MCS) cleaning responsibilities as dictated by the MCS and to ensure all required documentation is complete. THIS IS A PHYSICALLY DEMANDING POSITION WITHIN A PHYSICALLY CHALLENGING ENVIRONMENT!!

• Comply with all housekeeping procedures, Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures/Work Instructions, Sanitation Department policies, and required daily documentation.
• Completion of all required daily documentation, prior to the end of your shift.
• Always, have the goal of and work towards, keeping the Washroom clean and empty always.
• Disassembly and accurate reassembly of production equipment.
• Cleaning and sanitizing of production equipment.
• Detailed cleaning and general housekeeping maintenance of the facility and grounds.
• Supplies replenishment (i.e. gloves, PPE, toiletries, paper towels, etc.).
• Snow removal from Team Member walkways and facility entrances.
• Waste removal and recycling.
• Cosmetic painting within the facility.
• Complete all company-required training when it is assigned.
• This is primarily accomplished through but not limited to, the use of ALCHEMY and on the Internet through AIB.
• Responsibility to work and act safely in accordance with all policies
• Responsibility to report safety hazards to people or product and comply with all good Manufacturing Practices
• Must be willing to work safely by following any and all, Safety Procedures/Policies as this position requires the use of hazardous substances and chemicals.
• Ability to consistently display a positive attitude in your own personal performance, and your interaction with your fellow Team Members.
• Must be able to provide, as well as receive constructive criticism and feedback aimed at continuous improvement and personal development.
