• Ream out bolt holes if the chain was painted.
• Torque down all bolts per specifications using the torque machine.

Staff Management | SMX in Waukesha, Wisconsin is hiring immediately for 1st Shift Warehouse Assemblers to join our warehouse team. We offer benefit packages, weekly paychecks, as well as advancement opportunities with an amazing company. 1st shift pay rate is $15/hour. 2nd shift pay rate is $16/hour. Forklift positions are also available!

Shift Information

• 1st Shift Assembler: Monday-Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm ($15/hour)

• 2nd Shift Assembler: Monday-Friday, 2:30 pm-11:00 pm ($16/hour)

• Overtime available

Unfortunately, this opportunity is not on a bus line, and reliable transportation will be required.

Pay Rate: $15.00 - $16.00 / hour

Duties

• Tape/grease ends of chain.

• Grind the tops of the chains if painted or rusty.

• Ream out bolt holes if the chain was painted.

• Grind off back of shoes if painted or rusty.

• Lay shoes on track.

• Lay out hardware on the shoes.

• Place bolts into holes and tighten down nuts with impact gun.

• Torque down all bolts per specifications using the torque machine and/or hand torque wrench.

• Fill out all paperwork for quality control.

• Roll up and tie/clamp the track, and then place an ID tag on the track.

Position Requirements

• Must be able to use hand tools, grinders, drills, and impact guns.

• Required to read and understand work orders. Understand orders given by line leaders and management.

• Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours a day and to lift up to 70 LBS.

• Written and oral communication skills.

• Ability to respond to common inquiries.

• Ability to communicate information to Supervisors and Managers.

• Knowledge of manufacturing.

• Reasoning and problem-solving ability.

Forklift experience and certification are a plus!

Requirements: Background Check, Drug Test, Stand for Shift Duration, Must be at least 18 years old.Able to Lift 75 pounds., required education: No Education Requirement.
