Job summary

United Protective Services, Inc. is seeking a Security Flex Officer for the Dallas area during the holiday season. This temporary/seasonal position offers 1st and 2nd shift coverage with a flexible schedule across client sites.

Pay ranges from $17.00 to $19.00 per hour, with benefits including medical, dental, and vision Insurance. Ideal candidates may work overnights and must pass a drug test. The role requires patrolling, excellent customer service, and the ability to report incidents and logs

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule with changing shifts, including overnight if possible.
• Must be able to conduct foot patrols and maintain professional customer service.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and work outside in the elements.
• Will follow post orders and maintain logs and incident reports.
• Pass drug test is required.

Responsibilities

• Immediate response to open shift coverage.
• Engage in on-site conflict resolution.
• Assist client with duties as assigned.
• Maintain daily activity logs per post orders.
• Create incident reports for unique incidents on site.
• Observe and report suspicious activity per post orders.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and accounted for before, during, and after each shift.

United Protective Services is looking for a reliable security officer who has a flexible schedule.

Ideal candidates are available to work any shift with a changing schedule, including overnight shifts if possible. Flex Officers get the benefit of higher pay than most regular Officers but need to be open to working a changing schedule from week to week. Flex officers work at a variety of client sites to fill in for call-offs, vacations, and open schedules.

Must be able to conduct foot patrols and have a high customer service personality.

The candidate will provide security detail as outlined in the post orders and establish working relationships with customers, local law enforcement, and fire departments. Security personnel will always perform job duties with a constant awareness of their surroundings, making note of all activity that takes place in the assigned area. Security Officers must maintain a professional image and always demonstrate excellent customer service.

Job Duties

• Immediate response to open shift coverage when dispatched by the management team.
• Engage in conflict resolution on-site
• Assists client with duties as assigned.
• Maintains daily activity logs in accordance to post orders.
• Creates incident reports for unique incidents on site.
• Observe and report all suspicious activity in accordance with post orders.
• Ensures all United Protective Services equipment is well maintained and accounted for before, during and after each shift.
• Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work outside in the elements.
• Additional job duties may be assigned, as necessary.

Must be able to pass drug test.
