United Protective Services is seeking reliable, flexible Security Officers to join the Frisco Division. Positions offer part-time, flex scheduling with 8–24 hours weekly and opportunities for additional shifts at multiple client sites in Frisco, TX.

Pay is $18.00 per hour, with evenings, weekends and overnight shifts available. Must hold a valid Texas Level II Security License and be able to pass a drug test.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide security coverage at client properties throughout the Frisco Division.
• Respond to open shift opportunities and last-minute coverage requests.
• Conduct routine foot patrols of buildings, parking structures, and surrounding areas.
• Maintain a professional appearance and deliver excellent customer service.
• Monitor and report safety hazards, security concerns, and suspicious activity.
• Complete daily activity logs and incident reports as required.
• Follow site-specific post orders and security procedures.
• Assist clients, tenants, visitors, and management as needed.

Position Overview

United Protective Services is looking for reliable, professional, and flexible Security Officers to join our Frisco Division.

This position is ideal for individuals looking for part-time hours with opportunities to pick up additional shifts throughout the week. Flex Officers can expect 8–24 scheduled hours per week , with the opportunity for additional hours when coverage is needed due to call-offs, vacations, or open shifts.

Flex Officers will work at various client properties throughout the Frisco area, gaining experience at multiple locations while helping maintain consistent security coverage.

Ideal candidates must have a flexible schedule and be willing to work different shifts, including evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts when available.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide security coverage at various client properties throughout the Frisco Division.
• Respond to open shift opportunities and last-minute coverage requests from management.
• Conduct routine foot patrols of buildings, parking garages, and surrounding property.
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service.
• Monitor and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and security concerns.
• Complete daily activity logs, patrol reports, and incident reports as required.
• Follow site-specific post orders and security procedures.
• Assist clients, tenants, visitors, and property management as needed.
• Handle conflicts professionally and use appropriate de-escalation techniques.Maintain communication with supervisors and management regarding site activity.
• Ensure company-issued equipment is properly maintained and accounted for.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must have a valid Texas Level II Security License.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and professional.
• Must have reliable transportation to travel between assigned sites.
• Must be comfortable working independently at different properties.
• Must have strong communication and customer service skills.

• Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Must be comfortable using mobile applications for reporting and patrol documentation.
• Previous security experience is preferred.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.

Schedule & Availability

• 8–24 scheduled hours per week.
• Additional shifts available on an on-call basis throughout the week.
• Schedule may change weekly based on client and staffing needs.
• Must be available for occasional short-notice coverage requests.
• Evening, overnight, and weekend availability is highly preferred.
