Job summary

Schnucks is seeking a checker in Massachusetts to provide friendly customer service and accurate checkout experiences. You will greet customers, handle multiple payment methods, and apply correct produce codes at the register.

The role involves maintaining cash security, bagging orders, and performing related duties as assigned by store management. Training is provided at store level.

• Practice and maintain cash security.
• Bag customer orders.
• Change register receipt and coupon machine tapes.
• Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of store management.

TRAINING

Training will be provided at store level.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Bending
• Stooping
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Working on feet entire shift (4-8 hours)

Additional Requirements – Internal Candidates:

• Store/Facility Teammates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred.
• Store Support Center Teammates:minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred.
• Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline).
• If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.

Compensation Pay Range:

$15.10 - $16.50
