For over 50 years, MHMR has provided community-based services for youth and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), mental health conditions, and substance use disorders, as well as babies and young children with developmental delays. Direct Care - Speech Therapist/Physical Therapist/Occupational Therapist

Responsibilities

As a Speech-Language Pathologist with Early Childhood Intervention (ECI), you will support families of infants and toddlers birth to three years old with developmental delays or disabilities. You will provide services addressing speech, language, communication, pragmatics, feeding, and swallowing needs.

Services are delivered in the child’s natural learning environment, including home and community settings, and include Speech Therapy and service coordination/case management.

Child & Family Services believes parenting is one of the most important roles, and that every parent and caregiver can be successful. As an ECI Speech-Language Pathologist, you will coach and empower families with strategies that strengthen the parent-child relationship and promote positive outcomes for children, families, and the community.

Qualifications

Defined Education: Speech and Language Pathology

Preferences: Experience in early childhood or pediatrics

Required License(s):

  • Licensed Speech Language Pathologist in Texas
  • Valid Texas Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
  • Must provide license and official documentation of all educational attainment i.e. Transcript/Degree/Certificate.
