Job Description

Job Title: 145 Maintenance Planner

Department: 145 Planning

Reports To: OSC 145 Planning Manager

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

The 145 MX Planner is responsible for the day-to-day functions of the Planning Department, ensuring maintenance documentation is prepared and completed correctly according to regulations and customer requirements.

Responsibilities include:

1. Print, review, and audit work packages for completeness based on customer scope; serve as main contact for customers.
2. Understand contractual terms related to budget, span time, and rates.
3. Bidding MX Excel Quotes, interpreting maintenance hours, and organizing work packages by priority and skill.
4. Obtain all referenced documentation before issuance to the Production Control.
5. Ensure pre-draw completion and arrange for special tooling if needed.
6. Coordinate with project managers and departments on work scope and budgets.
7. Work with schedulers and data processors to meet customer and Kalitta procedures.
8. Estimate job times considering critical path, manpower, and materials.
9. Coordinate corrections or additions to work packages with project teams.
10. Ensure aircraft support and paperwork are issued before aircraft arrival.
11. Monitor daily aircraft movements and update schedules accordingly.
12. Maintain and update aircraft data in AMOS system.
13. Handle AOG support hours promptly.
14. Prepare daily aircraft movement reports.
15. Manage CM projects and parts routing in AMOS.
16. Submit technical assistance requests as needed.
17. Create service orders for projects and maintain AD/SB documentation.
18. Coordinate with customers and internal teams for CM projects.
19. Perform other duties as assigned by the Planning Manager.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with AMOS is a plus.

Skills

• Ability to read, write, and understand English; capable of composing reports and emails.
• Mathematical skills including unit conversions, rates, ratios, and percentages.

Physical & Work Environment

Requires sitting, talking, hearing, using a computer, and navigating industrial environments. Reasonable accommodations available.
