Job summary

MHMR of Tarrant County is seeking a Direct Care - Clinical Therapist/Social Worker/Case Worker to provide ongoing services for individuals experiencing housing crises within MHMR’s supportive housing programs. The navigator will specialize in assisting patients with housing options, coordinating CAS referrals, and working with housing case managers to ensure timely access to housing and leases.

This is a direct care position focusing onprovidingongoing services toassistpatients who are experiencinga housingcrisis or homelessness andhavechosen to enroll in an MHMR Tarrant supportive housing program. This position will specialize in providing services for the purpose ofassistingpatients with available housing options. This position compliments BH housing case managers’ roleinensuring fair and expedient access to housing for patients. The navigator willbe responsible fornavigating CAS referrals throughthe housingreferral and lease process.

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree inhealth andhumanservicesfield.Acceptable degrees include- Applied Behavior Analysis, Child Development, Counseling, Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Intervention, Education Psychology, Gerontology, Human Growth and Development, Medicine, Nursing, Physician Assistant, Psychology, Registered Nurse, Rehabilitation & Rehab Studies, Social Work, Sociology, and Special Education.years’ experience inthe Healthand Human Services field.

Bilingual skill and Crisis Service experience preferred. ORbachelor'sdegree with at least 30 hours of behavioral health coursework

Licenses :Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Eligible to obtain Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP-CS) certification.
Must provide license (if applicable) and official documentation of all educational attainmenti.e.Transcript/Degree/Certificate
