Job summary

Ajasianfoods is seeking a Material Handler to support our warehouse operations in Missouri. This role involves cleaning and organizing the warehouse, loading/unloading trucks, and assisting production with ingredient delivery and finished product storage.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of warehouse experience, at least 1 year forklift experience, and a valid forklift certification. You will work in a climate-controlled environment with PPE provided and must follow safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 1–2 years of warehouse experience and at least 1 year forklift experience.
  • Forklift certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain safe and positive work environment in compliance with OSHA, company standards, and local, state and federal requirements
  • Perform tasks necessary to meet warehouse goals
  • Accurately complete all necessary paperwork
  • Manage day to day inventory levels
  • Maintain Forklift certification
  • Periodic inventories
  • Traces history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends to management remedial actions to resolve discrepancies
  • Timely execution of daily receiving and shipping load board oversee the receipt of purchased goods verifying counts, quality and complete all required paperwork and transactions associated to this process
  • Stacks and arranges product on pallets
  • Completes forklift and pallet jack inspections before each shift
  • Replenish stock while maintaining a cleaned and organized warehouse/location daily
  • Moves product in warehouse/location as necessary during reallocations of space or taking of inventory
  • Rotates product and arranges according to Julian dates or FIFO (first in first out)
  • Receives and checks against receiving documents incoming product, ensuring proper product code, quantity and condition; reports any discrepancies to the lead
  • Operates electric forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Works in and out of freezers, temperatures average 32 degrees to –10 degrees
  • General support of production
  • Required to wear hairnet, freezer suit, captive boots, earplugs, and gloves provided by the Company

Position Summary
