Job Description

About the Role:

Pay Information: $18-20 Guarantee and $21.00-$40.00 Flat Rate, based on experience.

The Technician role is full-time or part-time, hourly, responsible for vehicle diagnostics and routine repairs, delivering exceptional service and maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic vehicle diagnostics and identify required repairs.
• Complete Monro’s Courtesy Inspection on every guest vehicle, identifying additional services and repairs.
• Assist in inventory management, including pulling tires and parts.
• Maintain store cleanliness and ensure a guest-ready environment.
• Perform services adhering to safety standards, including wheel torque and oil safety procedures.
• Test drive vehicles following company policies and safety laws.
• Operate and maintain equipment safely, including lifts and welders.
• Complete all required training and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive training or experience in basic maintenance and repair.
• ASE certification and State Inspection license preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, good MVR, and ability to conduct test drives.
• Own basic tools or participate in Monro’s tool purchase program.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

Work in an automotive shop with exposure to noise, weather, chemicals, and dust. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand, walk, and perform physical tasks as needed. Flexible hours required.
