Job summary

Advastar, Inc. seeks an experienced rough terrain crane operator to work at a grain and feed processing facility in Marietta, PA during a plant outage. The role requires operating a 130-ton Link-Belt RT crane, performing setup for each lift, and coordinating with supervision, riggers, and signalpersons.

Shifts are 12 hours long (days or nights) through 09.08.2026. The job includes daily inspections, strict safety protocols, and per diem plus travel pay.

Qualifications

• NCCCO with TLL Endorsement.
• Recent seat time on rough terrain cranes in 100-ton class or larger.
• Load chart discipline and daily inspections.
• Available for the full run 08.28.2026 through 09.08.2026 on 12-hour shifts.
• Own PPE and safety wear.
• Link-Belt RTC-80130/RTC-80100 or comparable.
• Shutdown/outage work is permit- and schedule-driven.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 130-ton Link-Belt rough terrain crane inside the load chart for every lift.
• Set up boom configuration, counterweight, outriggers, and radius for each pick in confined plant spaces.
• Perform and document daily crane inspections and pull crane from service when needed.
• Coordinate every lift with site supervision, riggers, and signalpersons.
• Work 12-hour shifts (days or nights) through 09.08.2026.
• Follow grain and feed plant safety protocols: combustible dust control and hot work permits.
