Job summary

Gold Standard Staffing is seeking a Crane Operator in Flat Rock, Michigan, for second shift work. The ideal candidate will have a crane permit and at least six months of experience operating a 20-ton crane safely and efficiently while prioritizing workplace safety.

This full-time hourly position entails inspecting cranes and securing loads while maintaining cleanliness on site. Safety gear is provided, however, steel-toed boots are required.

Qualifications

• Must have crane permit from previous employer and 6 months experience.
• Must have completed crane test and have crane operating permit at all times.
• Must be able to pass a vision test.

Responsibilities

• Inspect cranes wire and ropes daily for frays or breaks.
• Secure and center loads being lifted safely.
• Keep area clean and free of debris.
